The term "Net art" is used more widely by artists than "internet art," which is more commonly used by institutions, or "net.art," which usually evokes a specific mid-90s movement. The informality of the term "net art" is also appropriate not only to the critical use of the web as an artistic medium, but also informal practices such as selfies and Twitter poems.

You will chose an artist from the Net Art Anthology or **A History of Internet Art** and will create a 5 page navigable site that tells the story of an artist and their work. Your site should include:

• an introductory page with
  • header
  • a nav element
  • a layout using flex and/or grid
  • a footer that includes your name
• a biographical page about the artist including their photo and biography
• 3 pages about their work that include links and images. These could include:
  • emulations of the work
  • links and images of exhibitions of their work
  • publications about their work
• You must demonstrate a hover interaction and animation in your site
• You must demonstrate typographic hierarchy and an understanding of legibility for web based media
• You must import a custom font.
• Your site must be responsive for mobile (max width: 600px) and tablet (max width: 1024px)

You will hand in your site updates via a github link. Lets set up our github repos in class and create our folder structure.
